Aamir Khan was born in 1965 in a Mumbai Muslim family that has been actively involved in the Indian film industry. Aamir Khan continues to make Bollywood films. His blood ties go to the ethnic Pashtun/Pakhtun in Paksitan/Afghanistan. He is a descendant of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, and
former Indian president Dr Zakir Hussain. His father, Tahir Hussain, is a leading film producer, and his paternal uncle, Nasir Hussain, was a top film director. His father played some cameo roles (Teesri Manzil drummer Rocky), and another paternal uncle, Tahir Khan, also appeared in a number of Hindi films (Ham Kisi Se Kam Hahin). Since 2007, his nephew is also trying to a break into Indian movies. The film also gave Juhi Chawla her first leading role in the superhit film QSQT with Aamir Khan who played a small role in 1984 film Holi, and Juhi Chawla in 1986 film Sultanat.
